Country Wedding

This attractive wedding couple was so down to earth! She was such a lovely bride. She could have graced the pages of a bridal magazine. So, I was pleasantly surprised by her soft spoken voice and humble nature. I’ve already had my wedding but that doesn’t stop me from collecting ideas, each time I photograph a wedding I get more great wedding ideas! Ideas for wedding cakes, wedding decorations, venues and of course the wedding dresses. I found this reception venue to be exceptionally charming, I was smitten with the three carriage doors and the skeleton keys held in shadow boxes throughout the old house. Its the little things that add up to really give a place personality and this place had plenty.

Not only is this family cute but they are special. Their strong work ethic and unshakable morals remind me of Americans in generations past, they are just cut from that same cloth. If you look closely at the photograph of their very handsome son, you will notice his chicken is missing a foot. That happens to be his favorite of many chickens. What does a kid today do with chickens? He collects the eggs and sells them to his neighbors so he can save for his future. I hope I can instill at least a little of that in my son.

This was the kind of couple you can tell are best friends. The were comfortable together, supportive of one another and just got along great. All the qualities that make for a fulfilling and enduring marriage. Also, their relaxed attitudes made it a breeze to photograph them.

How precious is this little family?! I really didn’t want this session to be about getting the children to look into my lens with a cheesy grin. Rather, I wanted to be there to document the natural relationship between big sister and big brother as their relationships develop with brand new baby sister. Some things just can’t be forced and this was one of them.

This couple was so passionate! Sparks were certainly flying, it was almost as though the air was filled with this charge of energy they were giving off. The toughest part of photographing them was to get them to take their eyes off of each other long enough to snap a shot of them looking into the camera

Mountain Wedding

June is the most popular month to be married in the U.S. (just on Junes heels are August and May) with so many couples tying the knot this month, its no wonder why I have been keeping going non-stop. I want share with you some photos from one such couple. Set in Park City Utah, the ceremony itself was held on a bridge over a rushing stream. Wildflowers were the perfect accent and the grooms cake, hilarious! Graduation

June has been a very busy month for us. We’ve traveled to Reno and then back home to Las Vegas to Photograph some adorable children as well as young adults as they reach a new milestone and prepare to embark on a new chapter in their lives. This family is so tight knit, they are also return customers. I first photographed the Daughter Britney for her Senior portraits now here we are again nearly a year later photographing the entire family before Britney takes off to College (on a full academic scholarship I might add). Needless to say her parents couldn’t be any more proud and I’m just glad I could be there to preserve this major life event for them.

San Antonio Wedding

This wedding was extra special to since the bride is a dear friend of mine. It was also an extra challenging assignment since I was also the hair stylist and make-up artist (not typical) Everything turned out wonderfully that day and I really enjoyed exploring the city of San Antonio with my family. We checked out The Alamo, The River Walk and made sure to squeeze in as many local barbeque and Tex-Mex joints as we could. YUM!
